This final (argumentative, thesis-based) paper combines the methods of the first two (close readings of primary sources, and engagement with secondary sources) into a 5–7 pages research paper on a topic of your choice. You may, for instance, explore either a single issue in more depth and breadth (feminism, student movement, West German terrorism, Green movement, etc.), or compare certain movements across time up to the present (e.g., the student movement in the 1960s vs. the Green Movement; the Green Movement in the 1980s vs. the New Right; etc.)
As for the number of sources (primary and secondary), you will have to determine and demonstrate the adequacy of the amount and quality. In other words, this will not be quantified by me, but rather qualified by you in your analysis and argument. You will compose this in the same Google doc used for your other essays.
As always, be sure to format you paper correctly and include proper in-text citations and a bibliography.
